Iland6 Co., Ltd.

Wireless prison solution

In 2004 iLand6 formed Aeroscout Japan as a Joint Venture with Aeroscout Inc to market wireless visibility solutions to several vertical markets, and iLand6 managed the operation during the JV's first 3-4 years. In addition to hospitals and automotive manufacturers, a major installation was completed at the new public-private managed Shimane Asahi Rehabilitation Program Center.
The installation at the 325,000 m2 facility used Aeroscout-manufactured WiFi-aware tags along with customized middleware and wireless sensors to ensure safety of staff and compliance at the facility.

In 2012 iLand6 sold its interest in the Aeroscout Japan JV, concurrent to Aeroscout Inc's acquisition by Stanley Black & Decker, but the Japan organization continues to expand installations of the wireless sensor solutions.
